JUN decided to participate the BONNEVILLE SPEED TRIAL 2001, in which JUN has challenged for 4 times since 1990. This event was held in Bonneville Salt Flats International Speedway at the Salt Lake City Utah USA. The purpose of this event is to compete for a maximum speed for each classified class of the motor machine. It is the largest, the-world scale even for not only motor cars but also bicycles, trailer heads, jet engine cars and so on. For this year JUN 200-MILE SUPRA has joined the challenge for the class called E/BGCC (E:engine displacement 3L-4.2L B:turbo/super charger G:gasoline C:competition C:coupe). We set the car for the regulation of the entry class. We have increased the power of engine, modified the aero parts for the BONNEVILLE. A nickname for the car became JJUN AKIRA SUPRA after the name of owner.
